Kukhela Mining LDA, based in Mozambique, is a dynamic company dedicated to mining and mineral exploration. Currently, it is leading the development of the Manica Gold Project in the Manica District of Mozambique. Kukhela Mining's focus is on responsibly exploring mineral-rich areas to support the growing mining industry in the region.
The Manica Gold Project (License 12671C) is located approximately 12 km north of Manica town in Manica Province, Mozambique. This region lies to the west of Zimbabwe, with neighboring provinces Tete to the north and Sofala to the east. The project site covers 530.6 hectares (5.306 sq. km) of rich mineral terrain, benefiting from proximity to essential infrastructure like roads, airports, and railways.
The gold mineralization at the Manica Gold Project is mainly hosted within quartz veins embedded in schistose metabasalts. These have undergone significant geological processes, including carbonatization and sulphidation, making them ideal environments for gold deposition. Artisanal miners have found quartz veins rich in sulphides, providing further evidence of the area's gold potential.
Manica Province, part of the Zimbabwe Craton, is home to some of the oldest geological formations. The OMM Greenstone Belt runs through the area, consisting of mafic intrusives, granite gneiss, and greenstone rocks that have been extensively deformed by tectonic processes. The geological diversity of the Manica Gold Project includes Neoarchean formations and metasedimentary rocks, providing an excellent potential for gold mineralization.
Field Surveys: The field traverses identified the presence of various rock formations, including serpentinites, talc schist, metabasalt, and phyllite, showing signs of gold mineralization. Artisanal Mining: Local artisanal miners have already started operations in the license area, uncovering valuable minerals in pits. Quartz Veins: Key signs of gold mineralization are present in quartz veins found within schistose metabasalts, which show alterations such as ferruginization, silicification, and sulphidation.
Rich Mineralization: The project area contains rich gold deposits hosted in ancient rock formations with multiple signs of mineralization. Strategic Location: Located in central Mozambique, the site benefits from access to major transport routes, making it ideal for mining operations and export activities. Proven Potential: Artisanal mining has already confirmed the presence of valuable minerals, indicating a high probability of uncovering larger deposits with modern mining techniques. Low-Cost Exploration: Initial fieldwork suggests that exploration can be conducted at a relatively low cost, with existing artisanal operations paving the way for larger-scale mining efforts.

Kukhela Mining LDA is actively seeking investments to accelerate the development of the Manica Gold Project. This area, with its unexplored potential and confirmed mineralization, offers a lucrative opportunity for investors interested in tapping into Mozambique’s growing gold sector. Early exploration activities have already shown promising results in gold recovery.
