What We Do:

Kukhela Mining LDA is a mining exploration company based in Mozambique, dedicated to the development of the Chituco Gold Project located in Tete Province. The company prioritizes responsible exploration practices, aiming to unlock the full potential of the region’s mineral resources, particularly gold, within this promising concession.

Project Location

The Chituco Gold Project (License 11762L) is situated in the Chiuta District of Tete Province, Mozambique, approximately 50 km southeast of Furancungo and 100 km northeast of Tete town. Spanning 989.95 hectares (9.899 sq. km), the project is accessible via secondary dirt roads. Located within Mozambique's mineral-rich Tete Province, the license area is surrounded by key infrastructure, including access to Tete’s airport and the Revuboe River, a vital water source 12 km east of the concession.

Mineralization Potential:

Gold mineralization in the Chituco Gold Project is associated with quartz-carbonate veins and metasandstone. Quartzite and shale formations exhibit quartz stringers and sulfide mineralization, particularly in areas with artisanal mining. Outcrops in the northern part of the license reveal metasandstone with carbonate and quartz stringers, suggesting primary mineralization potential. Artisanal mining in the southern area near Cazula indicates alluvial gold deposits, with further exploration planned to evaluate the source.

Geological Details:

The Chituco project area lies within the Tete Complex, Cazula Group, known for its meta-sandstone, quartzite, shale, and biotite gneiss formations from the Mesoproterozoic period. This complex geology has been shaped by faulting and metamorphic events, creating conditions favorable for gold mineralization. Surrounding faults and fracture zones, both within and adjacent to the license area, indicate potential structural controls that may concentrate gold deposits.

Exploration Highlights:

Field Traverses (July 2024): Field traverses covered 30-line kilometers, primarily in the northeast and northwest portions of the license area. Geological observations focused on identifying gold-hosting lithologies. Quartzite Outcrops: Massive quartzite outcrops with quartz-carbonate stringers were documented in various locations, signaling potential mineralization. Artisanal Mining: Reports indicate that local artisanal miners are actively recovering alluvial gold in the southern portion of the license area near Cazula, underscoring gold presence in the region. • Rock Sampling: The field team collected rock samples of quartzite and shale for further analysis, focusing on zones with visible quartz stringers and pyrite traces.

Positives for Investors:

Proven Gold Potential: Active artisanal mining and geological sampling confirm gold presence, reducing initial exploration risk. Strategic Location: Proximity to Tete and Furancungo, with essential infrastructure and water resources, supports exploration and future operations. High Exploration Potential: The nearly 10 sq. km license area includes significant underexplored regions, offering ample opportunities for additional discoveries. Geologically Rich Environment: The Tete Complex’s diverse lithology, including quartzite and metasandstone, enhances the potential for both primary and secondary gold mineralization. Immediate Returns: Artisanal mining indicates near-surface gold deposits, enabling a potential quick start for small-scale extraction and cash flow.

Investment Opportunity:

The Chituco Gold Project offers a strong investment opportunity due to its established artisanal gold production and favorable geological structures for larger-scale exploration. Kukhela Mining LDA seeks investment to enhance fieldwork in high-priority areas, conduct trenching to confirm mineral continuity, and initiate more comprehensive sampling in the central and southern parts of the license area. The project’s location within a mineral-rich belt, along with favorable early-stage findings, provides a promising foundation for substantial returns.
