Africa Mining LDA is a Mozambique-based exploration and mining company committed to developing the Chimuara Gold Project. The company focuses on responsible and sustainable mining practices while leveraging Mozambique's rich geological environment for profitable gold and associated mineral production.
The Chimuara Gold Project (License 10490L) is located in the Mopeia District, Zambezia Province, Central Mozambique, approximately 12 km northeast of Caia town and about 200 km west of Quelimane City. Covering an area of 69.78 sq. km (6,978.29 hectares), the project is well-connected via National Highways N1 and N10, with proximity to key infrastructure such as the Chimuara Substation and the Zambezi River.
The project area is situated within the Mozambique Belt, featuring a complex geology with biotite gneiss, amphibole gneiss, and intrusions of coarse-grained pink granite and mafic dykes. Quartz veins in the area display signs of significant deformation and shearing, acting as conduits for gold-sulphide fluid migration and deposition. These veins trend predominantly N30W to N40E, dipping steeply toward the northeast, and are indicative of Archean lode-gold deposits.
Gold mineralization at the Chimuara Gold Project occurs in both primary (hard rock) and secondary (alluvial/eluvial) forms: Primary Deposits: Gold is hosted in whitish to grey quartz veins within granite and gneiss formations. Pyrite, box works, iron oxidation stains, and limonitisation are prevalent indicators of gold. Alluvial Deposits: Artisanal mining activities in the northwest and southeast parts of the license area confirm the presence of alluvial gold, primarily in seasonal streams.
Fieldwork (November 2023): Covered 40 linear kilometers, mapping lithology, structural features, and mineralized zones. Focused on identifying potential gold-bearing quartz veins and host rocks. Quartz Veins: A total of 12 quartz veins were mapped, with widths ranging from 3m to 15m and lengths up to 850m. These veins exhibit pyrite disseminations, box works, and limonite alterations, pointing to mineralization potential. Sampling Results: 34 rock chip samples and 4 channel samples were collected, with gold assay results ranging from 0.14 g/t to 1.59 g/t. Prominent mineralized zones yielded a weighted average of 1.08 g/t Au over 2.7m. Trenching: Two trenches were excavated, revealing quartz veins with visible pyrite and limonite alterations. Panning indicated no visible gold, but assay results confirmed mineralization.
Proven Gold Potential: Exploration activities and artisanal mining have confirmed gold presence in quartz veins and alluvial deposits. Strategic Location: Excellent access to infrastructure, including the N1 and N10 highways, the Chimuara Substation, and the Zambezi River. Large License Area: Spanning nearly 70 sq. km, the area offers significant unexplored zones with high discovery potential. Geological Advantage: The Mozambique Belt's complex geology supports lode-gold mineralization and long-term resource sustainability. Early Positive Results: Quartz veins with consistent pyrite and limonite indicators provide a solid basis for deeper exploration.

The Chimuara Gold Project offers a high-potential investment in a region with proven mineralization. Africa Mining LDA seeks investment to enhance systematic exploration and implement advanced geological and geophysical surveys. With favorable geological structures, significant quartz vein zones, and artisanal mining confirmation, the project is poised for scalable exploration and development.
